Some agnostics & atheists like to believe that logic places agnosticism & atheism outside of the whole religion/faith/worldview game. I like logic, but it has its limits, esp. when trying to answer the question of which is better: The Wizard of Oz, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, or Finite and Infinite Games.
I disagree. agnosticism -is- a political position, which is the whole reason why Tom Huxley created the fence-sitting neologism in 1876. and contrary to popular atheist belief, atheism is a belief system, like nudism (aclothing) is a fashion statement/clothing option; like blind (avisual) & color-blind (acolor) are sight conditions; like non-GMO (agmo) & gluten-free (agluten) are food choices.
Atheism & agnosticism, like every other belief system, have their orthodox ideologues and word nazis. I pray that humanism is above such narrow, constricted thinking.
